Caldeira, a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, hears music in everything.

He uses sounds as a powerful tool for expression and collective connection.

Caldeira builds unique instruments made out of recycled materials, using them to create a sensitive and compelling performance.

He draws inspiration for his compositions from everywhere: daily life, sounds around him and especially the atmosphere from his home city, with a close contact with the indigenous tribe Maxakali, all of that combined with his musical references such as Hermeto Pascoal, Uakiti, Andre 3000 and Zoe Keating.

In his solo project Caldeira uses a loop setting to create sounds ranging from intimate melodies to large breathtaking soundscapes.
